Messy Hair

Well, I was going through my Hong Kong photos but was overwhelmed by the number of shots I took, so I decided to go the easy route! Last week, this gang and I headed south to Windy Hill Open Preserve; and yes, it was very very windy. Not only was our little hike a little windy, it was a little exhausting as well. Originally, I thought this 3-4 mile hike was pretty easy, but I didn't take into account the many elevation change it took to complete the trail. We decided to turn around half way and head to t-pumps in San Mateo instead. =D
 The hike. The victims.
Bradley and Mandy decided to photobomb Alberto's profile pic. Nicely done.
Fields and fields of gold. I want to come back during the spring to see fields and fields of green!
 Alberto on the prowl.
Waiting for us to catch up....
The road there. The road back.

The Evil Princess

Just got the one good shot of Momo and I had to upload it. Usually, she'll be out the door before you can even grab the camera. And other times, she's the black kryptonite of all cameras; focusing is the new challenge with this one.

Annie & Donny

Monday, July 16, 2012

These two have been together for a long as I can remember. So when they asked me to do a mini engagement session for them, I jump on it right away. This was my very first official portrait session and I'm very thankful it was with Annie & Donny. They were very encouraging and supportive of this little 'career' of mine; pushing me to do more photography. Who knows, maybe this will turn into something someday.
First stop: Potrero Hill
And of course, the infamous Legion of Honor. We ran into a couple weddings and other shoots while we were there.
First you tell them to fake laugh. When they realize how awkward they sound, they let out a real laugh. Shutter away.

Happy feet.

Warm Summer Haze

Out of desperation, I grabbed the two closest girls next to me, threw some clothes on them, and set em up in front of my camera. Turned out to be great fun. I haven't done one of these spontaneous shoots in a while. We started at John McLaren Park then made our way down to Thornton Beach State Park. It was such a perfect day to be at the beach. I'm very blessed to live in the breeze Mediterranean region. San Francisco FTW!
I never knew Ada was such a model. She totally worked the camera.
And this is Stephanie, my good friend since secondary school. Steph really have blossomed into a beautiful woman.
We stumbled upon this maze of tree branches. It was such complex and chaotic setting that worked perfectly with the simplicity of Steph.
