Annie & Donny

Monday, July 16, 2012

These two have been together for a long as I can remember. So when they asked me to do a mini engagement session for them, I jump on it right away. This was my very first official portrait session and I'm very thankful it was with Annie & Donny. They were very encouraging and supportive of this little 'career' of mine; pushing me to do more photography. Who knows, maybe this will turn into something someday.
First stop: Potrero Hill
And of course, the infamous Legion of Honor. We ran into a couple weddings and other shoots while we were there.
First you tell them to fake laugh. When they realize how awkward they sound, they let out a real laugh. Shutter away.

Warm Summer Haze

Out of desperation, I grabbed the two closest girls next to me, threw some clothes on them, and set em up in front of my camera. Turned out to be great fun. I haven't done one of these spontaneous shoots in a while. We started at John McLaren Park then made our way down to Thornton Beach State Park. It was such a perfect day to be at the beach. I'm very blessed to live in the breeze Mediterranean region. San Francisco FTW!
I never knew Ada was such a model. She totally worked the camera.
And this is Stephanie, my good friend since secondary school. Steph really have blossomed into a beautiful woman.
We stumbled upon this maze of tree branches. It was such complex and chaotic setting that worked perfectly with the simplicity of Steph.

Lost Again

Hello 2012! What a perfect way to end the year than with a hiking trip. Little did we know, getting lost in the woods in the middle of the night was part of the hike as well. >< It was fun nonetheless.
LOL Appa makes the funniest faces.
Gotcha! As great of a friend you are, Bradley, I'm getting feed up with everyone constantly on their smartphones all the time. You absolutely do not need to look at your phone all the time, or check your twitter, or find sales. Its rude and y'all need to STOP.

I think we're gonna come back here next time to watch fireworks.
Mandy took over the camera here. I thought this looked pretty neat!
